eMachines has announced two new desktop PCs today; the T3646 at $299 and the T5254, priced at $399 (shown above). Let’s take a look and see what each of these newcomers have to offer at such low price points.
The $299 T3646 features a 2.2GHz AMD Sempron LE-1250 processor, NVIDIA GeForce 6100 graphics chipset, one gigabyte of RAM, 160GB SATA II hard drive at 7200RPM, 16x DVD burner, and Windows Vista Home Basic.
The $399 T5254 features a 2.1GHz dual-core AMD Athlon processor, same graphics chipset as the T3646, two gigabytes of RAM, 320GB SATA II hard drive at 7200RPM, 16x DVD burner, and Vista Home Premium.
