Toshiba’s latest DVR-sport’n LCDs were just announced and because of the included HDD, the stars above state we will not likely see a US counterpart. The ZH7000 series LCD ranges in size from a 42-, 46-, and 52-inch with all of them displaying 1080p at 3,000:1 contrast ratio expect for the smaller 42-inch set’s contrast ratio is a lackluster 1,100:1. All of the models in this series receive a built-in 300GB DVR for subscription free recording along with web browser functions through Hikari TV. Pricings range from $3,600 to $5,000.

Z7000 Series. 46-, 42-, and 37-inch screen size option with the same specs as the ZH7000’s expect no built-in DVR. Owners can plug a HDD into the side USB port for the same funcinality. Price ranges from $2,600 to $3,900.
