Behold the Fujitsu LifeBook MH380 netbook. See that trackpad there? That crater is used for scrolling up and down web pages and documents with a circular swipe of your finger.
LAPTOP recently reviewed the MH380 and praised its keyboard, 10.1-inch 1366×768 display, and unique scroll wheel feature but panned the netbook’s girth (almost two inches thick), “almost laughably tiny” touchpad, so-so battery life, and high price tag of $450.
Under the hood, there’s a 1.6GHz Atom N450 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 250GB SATA hard drive (5,400 RPM), Bluetooth, and Windows 7 Starter. The scroll pad does indeed look unique but that price tag, trackpad, and thickness would be all be deal breakers for me.
