Now On Sale In Japan: Hand-Knitted Super Mario Sweaters

I am not sure how many of these will actually get sold, but starting today, the Japanese can lay their hands on Super Mario-branded sweaters [JP]. Buyers can choose between four versions in two colors, and the sweaters actually do look quite nice.

But at $425 apiece, the sweaters are quite expensive, too. The price tag is not too big of a surprise though, as the sweaters are hand-knit in Japan and actually come with an official Nintendo license.

They can only be bought online [JP], directly from the maker. Potential buyers outside Japan can try to ask the users of Japanese e-commerce service Flutterscape (in English) to hunt down the sweaters for them.
