Dropbox 3.0 Hits iOS With AirDrop Support, Redesigned Icon

Along with a brand new app icon, Dropbox has redesigned its iOS apps with a new look and feel fit for iOS 7.

Perhaps most important in the new features list is AirDrop support, letting users send links and files through Apple’s instant sharing platform via Wifi or Bluetooth.

The team has also improved sharing and exporting generally, making sure that sharing (not just saving) your files and content is super simple.

As for the iPad, the experience has been simplified so that users can expand photos and files to fullscreen with a single tap. This should help power users stay organized within their troves of imagery and files.

Dropbox has also improved the video saving function.
