TrackDuck Secures €200K Seed From Kima And Practica

TrackDuck, a visual feedback and issue tracking startup, is aimed at small and mid-size organisations and freelancers. It lets the clients of small businesses and freelancers send feedback on a web site’s build process right there on the screen. Theres no installation or learning how to use new software.

It’s now secured a seed €200,000 seed from Kima Ventures and Practica Capital. This is the first Kima Ventures investment in Lithuania ever and its first joint investment with Practica Capital.

Kima Ventures is probably the closest thing we have to Ron Conway/Silicon Valley Angels in Europe as they invest relatively small sums very quickly and are pulling in hundreds of seed deals a year around Europe and the Middle East.

Indeed, we gather Jeremie Berrebi from Kima “invested on 6 slide of 12” according to TrackDuck founder Eddy Balcikonis.

Berrebi said: “TrackDuck solves a very big pain point for web developers and lets them improve their relationships with their customers by making communication easier.”

TrackDuck says it has about 4,000 users in 88 countries with the first paying clients from Germany. It’s now integrated with Basecamp, and is Jira coming up next week.

It’s main competitors are UserSnap UserSnap from Austria and BugHerd from Australia, which went through 500startups.

But Balcikonis says compared to its competitors TrackDuck has “more and better functionality for users – we cover all needs of feedback and bug tracking. For the whole process of web design and development, from mockups to prototype, to live website feedback from all website visitors. And we’re way cheaper.”

TrackDuck is a year old, has seven people in the team: 3 in Lithuania, 3 in Belarus, 1 in Singapore. It recently won the startup competition at the TechChill conference in Riga, Latvia.
