Apple Pay Launches On Monday, October 20

Tim Cook today announced during the company’s iPad and Mac event that Apple Pay will be launching on Monday with companies like Groupon, Uber, Airbnb and Target. It also revealed the expanded list of merchants that will be turning on its mobile payments service soon — another round of massive, national chains:

“It’s going to change the way we pay for things,” Apple’s CEO said.
