Guy is an accomplished entrepreneur, technology investor, and talent manager. He launched his career in the music industry as a teenager, working for Madonna as a talent scout for Maverick Records. Guy quickly climbed the ranks, ultimately becoming Chairman of Maverick, where the label sold over 100 million albums under his leadership. Throughout his career, he has managed a range of A-list artists, including Madonna and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. In 2022, Guy was named Variety’s Music Mogul of the Year.    For the last two decades, Guy has been investing and brand-building in the technology ecosystem first through his personal investments and then through co-founding A-Grade Investments in 2010 and Sound Ventures in 2015, both with co-founder Ashton Kutcher. With more than $1 billion under management and 300 portfolio companies, Guy and his partners have been at the helm of six top quartile venture funds.  A-Grade and Sound Ventures’ early-stage investments include: Affirm (NASDAQ: AFRM), Airbnb (NASDAQ: ABNB), Airtable, Anthropic, Brex, Duolingo (NASDAQ: DUOL), Gitlab (NASDAQ: GTLB), Hugging Face, OpenAI, SentinelOne (NYSE: S) and Uber (NYSE: UBER).
