Jatin Mehta
Founder, BlockDog
As a researcher at Czech Technical University, Prague, Jatin wrote image processing algorithms for the automated detection of bone-tissue ruptures in ultrasound images. His works on machine learning models for super-resolution images got published at an IEEE conference for neural networks. As a senior R&D engineer in Hewlett Packard Enterprise, his works on testing at scale were presented at the OpenStack Summit’16 in Austin. He built deep neural networks for the detection of breast cancer in mammograms at DeepRadiology. Later, he moved to silicon valley to work for SAP on their database engine – SAP Hana. He joined Salesforce – San Francisco, where he designed and developed software for scaling the Salesforce application. He’s come a long way from being a shitcoiner in 2017 to a builder in web3 and is currently building the trust infrastructure for web3 lending with his decade-long, equally nerdy friends. Jatin is an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) graduate in Electronics & Communication Engineering & got his master’s in Computer Networking at the University of California, Irvine.
