Kate Sullivan

Kate Sullivan career’s purpose is to improve our nation’s food system, specifically related to quality and sustainability. Currently, she served as the founder of a San Francisco food-tech company, Uncracked, Inc. Kate is a UC Berkeley graduate, where she studied nutritional sciences with a focus on dietetics. Since the age of 15, Kate has held a wide variety of positions in all aspects of the food industry, ranging from food safety + quality associate at HelloFresh, marketing + sales at large domestic brands such as GT’s Living Foods and Halal Guys, in addition to nutrition data analysis at an ai nutrition start up, Heali. Kate dropped out of graduate school in Boston to pursue Uncracked, a project emerging from UV Berkeley’s alt Meat lab and winner of 2023 Collider Cup. In spare time, Kate is a violinist, and accredits her leadership skills to many years of sitting concertmaster for high school and all district orchestras, meanwhile participating as a section member of UC Berkeley Symphony Orchestra. Kate leverages her prior experiences in addition to passion for nutrition and innovative product design at Uncracked. She is best described as charismatic, tenacious, resourceful.
