Kathleen Fisher
Director, Information Innovation Office (I2O), Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)
Dr. Kathleen Fisher became the Director of DARPA’s Information Innovation Office (I2O) in May 2022. She leads program managers who are funding the development and transition of technologies and capabilities to ensure an information advantage for the United States and its allies. Dr. Fisher joined DARPA from Tufts University, where she was a Professor of Computer Science, and served as chair of the department. Earlier in her career, she was a principal member of the technical staff at AT&T Labs. Fisher is a Hertz Foundation fellow, an AAAS fellow, an ACM fellow, and a member of the Board of Trustees of Harvey Mudd College.
