Oren Shoval
Co-Founder and CTO, Via
Oren Shoval is the co-founder and CTO of Via, a fully dynamic, on-demand transit network currently operational in NYC, CHI and DC. He is a former strategy business consultant at McKinsey, and has spent 10 years in the Israeli Air Force developing and deploying real-time avionic systems for fighter jets. Oren holds a PhD from the Weizmann Institute of Science where he focused on finding simplifying patterns in complex biological phenomena. He also holds an MSc in electrical engineering and a BSc in physics and math.
