Robhy Bustami

Raised in a family of obstetricians in the San Francisco Bay Area, Robhy developed a keen awareness of the challenges in maternal care. Excelling rapidly in his career as a data and AI engineer, he led product development and built a division of over 120 engineers at IBM Cloud & Watson. During his tenure at IBM, a family member’s maternal care complications, exacerbated by an ultrasound misdiagnosis, motivated him to address these critical issues. Partnering with engineers and obstetricians from Kaiser Permanente, UC Berkeley, and the University of Pennsylvania, Robhy embarked on a mission to revolutionize prenatal diagnosis through AI.
