Rodney Brooks

For 27 years Rodney Brooks was on the faculty at Stanford and MIT, where he was the director of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab. Since 1984 he has cofounded and built six companies in AI and/or robotics. iRobot has delivered 35 million Roombas. Rethink Robotics pioneered collaborative industrial robot arms. Now, Robust.AI has developed the first collaborative mobile robots, human centered at their core, heading to fulfillment centers and factory floors.
