Sara Bloomberg (she/her) has been covering innovation, tech, startups and entrepreneurship for the San Francisco Business Times since 2021. She has lived in San Francisco since 2009, covered Big Tech as a researcher for Japan’s Asahi Shimbun, and has previously written and photographed stories for the San Francisco Public Press, 48 Hills, KQED, the SF Bay Guardian and SF Weekly. She studied politics and languages at UC Santa Cruz, and journalism at City College of San Francisco.
