Sarah Burgaud
Chief Operating Officer, StartOut
Sarah Burgaud is the COO at StartOut, a national organization accelerating and supporting LGBTQ+ founders. Sarah previously worked as the COO at CALSO, a nonprofit organization supporting social entrepreneurs in San Francisco and in Austin, TX. Before moving to the Bay Area in 2014, Sarah managed incubation programs for social entrepreneurs in 8+ countries. Prior to her international work, Sarah worked as investment officer in an impact investing firm in Europe. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Economics and Social Sciences and a Master’s degree in Finance from Sciences Po Paris.
