Shane Witnov is the Privacy and Policy Director at Meta, where he leads a team of experts shaping Meta’s approach to AI. He collaborates closely with AI and policy experts, as well as internal product teams, to ensure the safe and responsible development of Meta’s AI products and to address novel data and AI challenges. He holds a J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, as well as an M.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Stanford University.
