CTO and Co-Founder, Tobiko Data
Toby is the co-founder and CTO at Tobiko Data, the company behind SQLMesh, an intelligent data transformation framework designed to scale. Prior to Tobiko, he led Analytics Infrastructure at Airbnb where he helped create their semantic layer Minerva as well as architected Netflix’s experimentation platform. He also created SQLGlot, a popular open source Python SQL framework. Outside of Tobiko, he enjoys smoking meats, is a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and the former world record holder for solving a Rubik’s Cube.
