Yifat Oron

Yifat Oron is the CEO of LeumiTech, Leumi Group’s high-tech banking subsidiary. In her role, Ms.Oron is responsible for leveraging Leumi Group’s global capabilities and offerings to support high-tech companies’ financing needs. Ms. Oron has over twenty years of experience working with technology companies, in venture capital, banking and consulting. She spent most of her career as a Partner at Vertex Ventures (an Israeli-based venture fund with over $700 million of capital under management). Prior to joining Vertex, Ms. Oron was a technology investment banking associate at JPMorgan. Previously, she spent three years at the Directorate of R&D of the Israeli Ministry of Defense where she achieved the rank of Lieutenant in the Economics, Budget & Control Department. At the age of 34, Ms. Oron was selected as one of the promising “40 Under 40” in the High-Tech and VC category by Israel’s leading economic newspaper. Ms. Oron holds an M.B.A. from Tel-Aviv University and a B.Sc in Economics and Management from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
