Maryland Momentum Fund
The Maryland Momentum Fund is an initiative of the University System of Maryland (USM) to provide seed stage investment funding for promising ventures that come out of any of the 12 constituent USM institutions, its research parks, and its students, faculty, or graduates. With a $16M commitment from the USM, the Fund co-invests alongside venture capital funds, foundations, and angel investors.

FedTech
FedTech was born in 2015 after participating in the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps (I-Corps) program when we saw an opportunity to commercialize the ~$150B/year in federally funded R&D. We iterated on different concepts to materialize our vision, before landing on the most effective way to move cutting edge technology from the bench to the marketplace: the Startup Studio. FedTech has since grown from a regional startup studio to an international company, offering a range of options to serve our different clients. Our impact has expanded significantly since our first Startup Studio in 2015, as we now work with fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations, and forward-thinking government agencies in a number of capacities, while still remaining true to our mission of unlocking the benefits of technology through entrepreneurially minded people.

We, as Georgetown Entrepreneurship, empower students to perceive the world through the lens of entrepreneurs, equipping them with the requisite knowledge and skills to translate their insights into tangible contributions to society. The Washington DC Economic Partnership (WDCEP) is a nonprofit, public-private partnership at the core of economic development in Washington, DC. We connect national and international corporations to the public and private sector to advance sustainable and inclusive economic development.
