Overview
TechCrunch Disrupt is a 3-day conference on October 28-30 in San Francisco focused on breaking technology news and developments with big-name thought leaders who are making waves in the industry.
At the heart of Disrupt lies the Startup Battlefield 200 — two hundred hand-picked, early-stage startups exhibiting at this year’s event to showcase their latest developments and innovations, 20 of which will be selected as finalists to compete for a $100,000 grand prize on the Disrupt Stage. Throughout the event are activations, roundtables, and parties that drive networking and discovery within the tech ecosystem.

Attend Hands-On Sessions

Roundtables
A 30-minute collaborative conversation in a small-group setting lead by an expert.
Roundtable attendance requires pre-registration.

Breakouts
A 50-minute session with Q&A. This is where you can go deep with industry leaders on how to solve specific challenges facing today’s entrepreneurs.
Breakout attendance is first-come, first-serve.

PITCH SHOWCASE STAGE

Stage located in the Expo Hall where startups from the show floor can pitch their company and shine.
RECHARGE ZONE

Play some games, relax, or catch-up some work in the Recharge Zone located int he Expo Hall.
DEAL FLOW CAFE

For founders and investor pass holders only. This area is a great spot to grab a coffee, relax, and make new connections with other founders and investors.
STARTUP PAVILIONS

Startups from around the world come to Disrupt. Check out the pavilions in the Expo Hall to explore the world from Disrupt.
STARTUP BATTLEFIELD

A small handful of pre-series A startups are selected to compete for the coveted Disrupt Cup, a $100,000 prize, and exhibit at the show.
SIDE EVENTS

Join 100+ events hosted by our partners during “Disrupt Week” throughout San Francisco. From meetups to parties and workshops to happy hours, you’ll be right in the thick of Disrupt.
RECEPTIONS

Select attendees are invited to participate at a Disrupt Reception hosted by TechCrunch or a partner. Each reception has its own theme/audience. Be on the lookout for your invite!
EXPO HALL

Head to the Expo Hall for non-stop tech action, networking, and engagement with partners, service providers, and startups.
BRAINDATES

Take 1:1 meetings or small groups with other founders, investors, and tech leaders. Event app makes it snap to connect!

Session Registration
Some sessions, such as roundtables, require advanced registration to reserve your seat. Once you register, please be on the lookout for a notification for when session registration is opened and which sessions require pre-registration. Pre-registration occurs in the event app.

Location & Getting Around
Located in the urban heart of San Francisco’s SoMa district, The Moscone West Center is easily accessible by transit for Disrupt attendees.

Rideshare
We highly recommend attendees to take a rideshare service to Moscone West. Here’s some helpful information about getting around San Francisco.
Public Transit
BART offers fast, convenient regional service and MUNI Metro provides light rail service throughout the City. To reach Moscone North & South, take BART or MUNI to Montgomery station. To reach Moscone West, take BART or MUNI to Powell station.
Caltrain offers a frequent schedule into the nearby station at 4th & Townsend Streets. All of these stations are within a few minutes’ walk of The Moscone Center.
Ferries offer transport between San Francisco and cities located across the San Francisco Bay’s waters. The San Francisco Bay Ferry provides weekday, weekend, holiday, and seasonal services to nine terminal locations around the Bay including Alameda, Oakland, and Vallejo. From San Francisco’s Ferry Terminal riders can connect to surface and subway options taking them to The Moscone Center.
