How to get to the venue

We strongly encourage taking public transit to the venue, as parking is limited.

BART Richmond Line:
Exit at Downtown Berkeley Station, located at the corner of Center Street and Shattuck Avenue. Walk one block east on Center Street to the “T” at Oxford Street, then turn right on Oxford until Bancroft Way. Turn left on Bancroft to Telegraph Avenue for Zellerbach Hall, Zellerbach Playhouse, and Wheeler Auditorium; follow Bancroft Way to Dana Street for First Congregational Church; to College Avenue for Hertz Hall; to Galyley Road/Piedmont Avenue for the Greek Theatre and the University Club at Memorial Stadium. Check the BART site for a current train schedule.

By AC Transit

Several AC Transit lines stop along Bancroft Way and in front of Zellerbach Hall, and other lines stop in front of the Downtown Berkeley BART station, which is a 10- to 15-minute walk to our venues (see the above directions from BART). Please check the AC Transit site for schedules and current lines.

By car

From Interstate 80 (San Francisco, Oakland, Marin):
Exit at University Avenue. Continue east on University Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles to Oxford Street. Turn right on Oxford Street, pass Bancroft Way, and turn left on Durant Avenue. (Our venues are located around the UC Berkeley campus, so please see the maps below for specific locations.)

From Highway 24:
Exit at Telegraph Avenue. Turn right onto Telegraph Avenue and continue north approximately 2 miles to Bancroft Way. (Our venues are located around the UC Berkeley campus, so please see the maps below for specific locations.)

What’s our cancellation/refund policy?

Can I transfer my ticket?

Select tickets are eligible for transfer. You can only transfer your ticket to another person who is eligible for the same ticket type. All transfer requests must be made through the transfer request form located in your ticket registration email with the subject line “Here’s Your Ticket to TC Sessions: AI.” Not all ticket types are eligible to transfer.

All transfer requests must be made through the form by May 23, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PT.

Please note that once you transfer a ticket to a new individual, we will cancel your original ticket and issue a brand-new ticket link to your recipient. They will then need to register themselves for the event.

Once a badge is printed, we cannot transfer it to a new individual.

Is there a fee if I lose my badge at the event?

How can I update information on my ticket?

To update the information on your ticket, click the “Manage Your Registration Details” link on your confirmation email with the subject line “Here’s Your Ticket to TechCrunch Sessions: AI.” The information provided on your ticket will need to match your government-issued photo identification card, and the information provided will be used on your badge during the event.

Please note that you are NOT able to update/change your email address through the “Manage Your Registration Details.” If you need to update your email, please contact us at events@techcrunch.com.

Am I able to exchange my ticket for a different type?

You have the option to exchange the ticket type that you purchased only one (1) time. If you elect to exchange your ticket for a more expensive ticket type, then you will be responsible for paying the difference between what you originally paid and the current ticket price of the new ticket type before the change can be processed. However, if you decide to exchange your ticket for a less expensive type, you are not eligible for a refund on the price difference regardless of the date of purchase. Once an exchange occurs, we can no longer make additional ticket changes or revert to the original ticket. All ticket types have additional access and qualification restrictions; proof of qualification will be required before an exchange can occur.
