Google I/O, Google’s biggest developer conference of the year, is here.

I/O will showcase product announcements from across Google’s portfolio. We’re looking forward to plenty of news relating to Android, Chrome, Google Search, YouTube, and — of course — Google’s AI-powered chatbot, Gemini.

Stick with us all day as we bring you the latest news from this year’s conference.

  • How to watch Google I/O 2025

Lucky for you, we have folks on the ground at Google I/O 2025. But for those who also want to watch all the announcements as they happen, there is a way to tune in. As reporter Maxwell Zeff noted in this preview article, the Google I/O 2025 keynote kicks off at 10 a.m. PT on Tuesday at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View.

You can watch a livestream of Google’s keynote here, or watch via the embed below. At 1:30 p.m. PT, the developer keynote begins. As the name suggests, the developer keynote will focus less on the consumer side of things.

  • It’s time for Google I/O!

Google’s biggest conference of the year is here, and we’re expecting quite a bit of news from the event.

Google hosted a separate event dedicated to Android updates last week, called The Android Show. But we’re still looking forward to more, like improved notifications in Android 16, as well as support for Auracast, which should make it easier to switch between Bluetooth devices. We’re expecting lock screen widgets and a range of new accessibility features too.

We’re also prepping for new additions to Google’s flagship Gemini family of AI models, as well as news on Astra, Google’s wide-ranging effort to build AI apps and “agents” for real-time, multimodal understanding. An updated top-of-the-line Gemini Ultra model is on the way, and with it perhaps a pricier Gemini subscription.

Be sure to keep up with everything announced right here.
