CES 2025 Day 2 has begun, with more reveals and show floor highlights
We’re now a few days into our CES coverage, and while the major press events have come to a close, there’s still plenty left being showcased on the show floor and beyond the Las Vegas convention centers.
Today brings the expansion of SteamOS to devices in addition Valve’s successful Steam Deck, with Lenovo revealing the portable Legion Go S, which can be purchased with SteamOS for $499 or with Windows 11 for $599. Get the full rundown on other configurations and details on the Legion Go S here.
Speaking of portability, Based Hardware’s Omni AI wearable follows last year’s wave of AI hardware hype. The circular device can be worn as a necklace, but its founder is particularly bullish about its potential as an assistant attached to the side of your head utilizing a “brain interface” to take your commands. Our demo with Omni left plenty of questions about the device, however.

It wouldn’t be CES without an assortment of pet tech
Humans aren’t the only creatures being pitched new innovations and upsold on technological solutions to problems they currently resolve in a more luddite fashion. Some are ridiculous, but others are addressing real concerns facing pet owners.
Take Petcube’s new water fountain, which it claims provides “nearly 100% water purification” to set it apart from the many other pet-oriented fountains out there on the market — and every cat owner knows the importance of anything that gets your cat to actually hydrate.
And then there’s the Pawport Smart Pet Door, which has been upgraded with an additional exterior door and other changes to better protect against inadvertent animal friends following after your own. Sorry, raccoons.

Delta Air Lines reveals Uber partnership, and Viola Davis
Delta Air Lines took time to praise their ingenuity and innovation — accolades that are commonplace in a CES keynote — with the help of probably the most talented actor you’ll ever see tee off a CES press conference: Viola Davis.
But they know what you’re really here for: the points. Delta announced an exclusive multi-year partnership with Uber that lets you earn SkyMiles while taking a ride with Uber or placing an order through Uber Eats, solely in the U.S. Delta also announced an AI assistant being added to its app and upgrades to in-flight entertainment options, which you can get a rundown on right here.
